What is a passion? To me, passion is anything that provides that feeling inside where you cannot wait to get into it. It’s when your eyes light up when talking about it. It is whatever makes you glow. It is the thing that makes you come alive.
However, passions are not always evident. For some, ascertaining their passion takes a lifetime. Others simply may find confirmation of what they already know.
The following are some of the ways to help you easily find your passion;
1. Never be scared to fail
It is extremely uncommon that you will find your passion by just sitting there doing nothing. Finding your passion will at times need you to move out of your comfort zone. You have to gallantly go out in the world and try new things (but not illegal stuff). Do more volunteering, sign up for a class in something you don’t know, or rather take on something that will occupy your time. Besides, you can use your computer to find out about something that you like. After this, get out there and take action! Never stress, your path is somewhere out there just waiting to be discovered.
2. Search high and low
Search for anything that interests you and types that phrase or word on the internet. For instance, let’s say you like soccer. The results will show you everything that is associated with soccer in your area. Review these areas and discover everything that is associated with your interests.
In case you don’t find whatever you were looking for, try again in other words or different forums. In addition, you may even ask friends and family members for tips. Never give up because you never know how close you are to getting your answer.
3. Be curious
The moment that you explore things that you are interested in start expanding your horizons. Scan the discussion on online forums and magazines. Read about something new and different. Experiment. It is very easy, and it’s free. You never know what might just light up your passion.
4. Be a joiner
You can join groups in various aspects. This can be your local area, online platform, your church or even your social setting. If you like dancing, join a group of dancers. If you have had an urge of starting your own business, join a group of entrepreneurs. If you find yourself engaging in this, you can start discussing and connecting with other members. You will be shocked at how much you will learn. On the other hand, if you lose interest after a few times then that is a cue to leave. Find something else.

5. Connect with passionate people
Look around your life. Some people share your passions. It might be a family member, a colleague, workmate or even a random stranger. You might be sharing personal interest or hobbies with different people, but because you are scared,’ you might just miss an opportunity to find what you are interested in.
Never give up! All our dreams turn out to be realities if we have the power to pursue them.
